ioWhey now available as NSF Certified for Sport, Additional Certifications

Plasma Nutrition ioWhey is now available as NSF Certified for Sport, continuing the company’s commitment to the highest quality ingredients for all customer goals. NSF International’s Certified for Sport program builds on the dietary supplements standard and helps athletes make safer decisions when choosing sports supplements. MLB, NHL and CFL clubs are permitted to provide and recommend only products that are Certified for Sport. Certified for Sport is also recommended by the NFL, PGA, LPGA, CCES, CPSDA and many other sports organizations.

“This is another major milestone for ioWhey Protein and shows how strongly we are committed to high level performance,” noted VP of Business Development Benoit Turpin. “ioWhey Protein is built on truly revolutionary technology and we believe that an emphasis on industry leading products should inform everything that we do. Our new manufacturing facility positions ioWhey to take the next step in defining the future of protein.”

Consumer flexibility has proven to be a major emphasis for ioWhey Protein, as NSF Certified for Sport joins other certifications also available: Halal, Kosher, NSF (GMP Certificate) and SQF Level 2. This will allow brands to integrate ioWhey Protein throughout their product portfolios and deliver the most effective whey protein to all of their customers, whatever the individual customer’s needs may be.
