Plasma Nutrition is excited to have been named Startup of the Year at the 2019 NutraIngredients USA Awards, sponsored by Dupont. The NutraIngredients USA Awards is the premier awards program in the United States recognizing innovation and leadership throughout the food and nutrition industry. The team at Plasma Nutrition is honored to have been chosen as the winner in such a strong field. The company won the award thanks to its breakthrough Ingredient Optimized technology, currently powering ioWhey Protein products available throughout the United States. “Our team has demonstrated tremendous success both clinically and commercially, and it is humbling to have this success recognized by such a prestigious award,” said VP of Business Development Benoit Turpin. “Having been in this industry for over 30 years, I have never seen anything with the potential of Ingredient Optimized technology. This really is just the start for us.” Plasma Nutrition was selected as Startup of the Year by an elite panel of judges from across the industry, including current and past executives from GNC, Bayer, DSM, Abbott, Nestlé, Ganeden, Mead Johnson, Herbalife, Amway and Garden of Life.
